Who you are dealing with

This website is operated by Cape Construction, a roofing and exterior contractor at 1214 Waverly Ave, Holtsville, NY 11742, serving Nassau and Suffolk County, New York. Where these terms say "we" or "us," that is who we mean.

This website is information, not an offer

Everything published here — service descriptions, material comparisons, timelines, and especially prices — is general information to help you understand the work. It is not a quote, and it does not create a contract.

The price ranges on our service pages are typical figures for Long Island homes. They are not a promise of what your job will cost. Your actual price depends on your house, and you will only ever get it in writing after we have looked at the property.

Estimates

An estimate becomes real when it is written, delivered to you, and signed by both of us. Until then, nothing said on this website, over the phone, or in an email creates an obligation on either side.

A written estimate is valid for the period stated on it. Prices can move if material costs change, or if we open up the roof and find conditions that were not visible during the inspection — rotted sheathing, for example. If that happens, we tell you before we do the extra work, not after.

The contract governs the work

If you hire us, a separate written contract covers the job: scope, price, schedule, payment terms, and coverage. That contract, not this website, defines what we owe you. Where anything on this site conflicts with your signed contract, the contract wins.

Using this site

You are welcome to read this site, print it, and share it. You may not:

• Scrape or harvest the site, or any contact details on it, for bulk or automated use

We write this site carefully and keep it current, but we cannot promise every figure is exact or that everything stays accurate as codes, products, and prices change. Building codes in particular vary by municipality and get updated. Do not rely on this website as a substitute for a professional inspection of your own property.

Where we link to another website — a manufacturer, a review platform, our social pages — we do not control what is on it and we are not responsible for it. Following an outside link takes you out of our terms and into theirs.
